Travel Man offers a three-day tour to Trabzon. You will experience breathtaking views of Uzungöl Lake hidden in the Pontic Mountains, the ancient historical Sumela Monastery, as well as the city of Trabzon and its main attractions.

Tour Program

Day I

Tbilisi — Batumi — Trabzon
04:00 — departure from Tbilisi
11:30 — Batumi (participants may join the group in Batumi)
13:00 — border procedures at the Sarpi checkpoint
(ID card or passport required, valid for at least 6 months)
16:00 — arrival in Trabzon, hotel check-in
Evening walk around the city and sightseeing

Day II

09:00 — breakfast
Visit to the ancient and historic Sumela Monastery
Visit to the Little Hagia Sophia in Trabzon
Trabzon Aquarium — one of the city’s most beautiful and popular attractions
Evening free time, visit to Trabzon Forum shopping mall
Return to the hotel

Day III

09:00 — breakfast
Trip to Uzungöl Lake — the highlight of the tour, a fairy-tale-like lake nestled in the Pontic Mountains that leaves unforgettable impressions
Around 14:00 — departure towards Tbilisi
Approximately 23:00 — arrival in Tbilisi

Important notes:

  • bring colorful clothing for beautiful photos

  • when traveling with a minor, a passport and birth certificate are required

  • passport or ID card must be valid for more than 6 months to cross the border
    (a small entry slip will be issued and must be kept until returning to Georgia)

  • if border crossing is denied due to violations, return expenses are borne by the participant; the company is not responsible and the tour fee is non-refundable

  • card payments are accepted in most places (Turkish lira can be purchased in Trabzon)
