On January 4, the Tatuzas stage will host the Thomas Mayherski Quartet featuring one of the world’s most renowned jazz drummers — Mark Johnson.
Meet the quartet members:
Thomas Mayherski is a New York–based instrumentalist and composer, recipient of the ASCAP Louis Armstrong Scholarship, a participant in international festivals, and the author of two albums.
Mark Johnson is a world-renowned American jazz drummer who began playing in childhood and has collaborated in New York with artists such as Abbey Lincoln, Freddie Hubbard, and Cassandra Wilson.
Romeu Tristão is one of Portugal’s leading bassists, involved in international projects including The Wild Bunch, and curator of Távola Jazz Club.
Toni Saigi is a Spanish jazz pianist, leader of the TRONIK quartet, one of Europe’s most in-demand musicians, and the author of three albums.
