Day One
We leave Batumi at 9:00 AM. On the way to the hiking starting point, we’ll make a scenic stop.
We’ll hike through the hills toward our campsite — all the heavy gear, tents, and food will already be delivered there. The trail is incredibly picturesque!
We’ll climb Mount Didi Vake and descend to the camp from there.
The route is about 6–7 km with an elevation gain of around 400 meters.
Evening of Day One
At the campsite, we’ll enjoy a breathtaking “sea of clouds” view, watch the sunset, and cook a field dinner together — then share it around the campfire.
It’s an atmosphere you can’t put into words — you need to feel it yourself!
If the sky is clear, we’ll stargaze. Several meteor showers will be active, so expect to see falling stars! And of course, we’ll look out for the Milky Way.
Day Two
We’ll wake up early to catch the sunrise — optional, but who could resist?
After breakfast in camp, we’ll pack up and hike to Lake Chinchao —
a small, peaceful mountain lake, home to local newts.
We’ll reach a viewpoint above it or go down to the shore.
The route is 12 km with an elevation gain of about 600 meters.
Lunch will be on the mountaintop.
On the way back, we’ll enjoy well-deserved desserts, sip herbal tea, and head home full of joy.
We’ll be back in Batumi around 8–9 PM.
