On January 2, the Tatuzas stage will host the Thomas Majcherski Quartet featuring one of the world’s renowned jazz drummers — Mark Johnson!
Meet the members of the quartet:
Thomas Majcherski — a New York–based instrumentalist and composer, recipient of the ASCAP Louis Armstrong Scholarship. He has performed at international festivals and released two albums.
Mark Johnson — a world-recognized American jazz drummer. He began playing drums in childhood and has collaborated in New York with such acclaimed musicians as Abbey Lincoln, Freddie Hubbard, and Cassandra Wilson.
Romeu Tristão — one of Portugal’s leading bassists, active in international projects including collaborations with The Wild Bunch, and curator of the Távola Jazz Club.
Toni Saigi — a Spanish jazz pianist, leader of the quartet TRONIK and one of Europe’s most in-demand musicians. He has released three albums.
