Based on an extraordinary true story, The Straight Story follows 73-year-old Alvin Straight, who sets out on a 240-mile journey across America's Midwest to visit his estranged brother after learning he's seriously ill. With no driver's licence, Alvin makes the trip on the only vehicle he has: a lawnmower.
