Six new wines and three distinct sides of modern Spain — from Catalan sparkling wines to Atlantic Albariño and Mediterranean whites from Montsant and Priorat.
One country, six wines, and entirely different experiences. On October 15 at 8:00 PM, we're gathering at Another Valley for THE NEW SPAIN — a tasting that explores modern Spain from three different perspectives.
We'll begin the evening in Catalonia with three sparkling wines: Raventós i Blanc, Sumarroca Gran Reserva Brut Nature, and Mas Vilella Corpinnat. Three different approaches to sparkling winemaking and a chance to taste them side by side — comparing aromas, textures, and character before discovering your personal favorite.
Next, we'll travel to the Atlantic coast. With its freshness, saline notes, and distinctive texture, Albariño Sobre Lías will reveal another side of Spain.
For our final pair, we'll return to Catalonia: Acústic Blanc from Montsant and Ritme Blanc from Priorat. Two neighboring regions and two different expressions of Mediterranean white wine. Tasting them together, we'll explore what they have in common, how they differ, and which one best suits your palate.
There will be just ten guests around the table. We'll have plenty of time to taste the wines at a relaxed pace, exchange impressions, and talk about the regions, grape varieties, and winemaking techniques behind each bottle. You're welcome to ask questions, share what you notice in your glass, or simply listen and discover new flavors.
You don't need to know much about Spanish wine — curiosity is enough. If you already love wine and want to learn more, this evening will offer some fascinating comparisons. If you're just beginning your wine journey, we'll discover what you enjoy together.
Come with a friend or join us on your own — with six great wines on the table, we'll have plenty of reasons to start a conversation.
