The Neuropsychology of Love

💡 On April 21, the Academy of Thinking will host a talk with neuroscientist and creator of the YouTube channel “Spin” — Nutsa Koguashvili on the topic:
“The Neuropsychology of Love”

The lecture focuses on the neurobiology of love and how emotional experiences affect our brain and body. For example, during heartbreak, the same brain regions associated with physical pain become active — highlighting just how real and powerful emotional pain can be.

The talk will also explore the difference between genuine love and emotional dependency.

Participants will gain practical insights into how healthy, long-term relationships are formed and what mechanisms shape our emotional choices.
