At our film club with a psychologist, we will watch the drama Un monde and discuss childhood cruelty, fear, and the struggle to preserve oneself in a space where there is no protection.
🎬 About the film:
Seven-year-old Nora starts school alongside her older brother. Very soon, she becomes a witness to him being bullied by classmates. She sees, feels, understands — but doesn’t know how to help. The adult world seems distant, while the children’s world becomes a closed system with its own rules, where fear is stronger than words.
This is not a film “about bullying” in the usual sense.
It is a film about a child’s perspective — confusion, loyalty, guilt, and the impossibility of making the “right” choice when every option causes pain.
After the screening — a group discussion in a supportive dialogue format, with attention to personal experience.
🌿 Why is it so difficult to intervene when violence happens nearby?
🌿 How does a child experience fear and helplessness?
🌿 What can become a source of support when there is no protection?
✨ The session will be led by Olesya Patraity — existential psychologist, trauma therapist, and group facilitator.
