The famous play The Days of the Turbins by Mikhail Bulgakov takes the audience to the winter of 1918–1919. The chaos of revolution threatens to consume the intimate world of the Turbin family.
The play focuses on the contrast between the destructive historical era outside and the warm, harmonious home of the Turbins, where love, friendship, and intellect still endure.
All roles in the production are performed by leading students of GITIS, bringing youthful energy and freshness to the performance.
Special attention is given to themes of dignity, loyalty to duty, fear, and the search for life’s meaning during a turning point in history.
The play highlights the value of human relationships in the face of the collapse of the old world and the approach of catastrophe.
