Los Angeles, 1991 — the Gulf War is underway. The main character, known as “The Dude,” considers himself a perfectly happy man. His life revolves around bowling and drinking.
But suddenly, his peace is disrupted — gangsters mistake him for a millionaire with the same last name, demand money he knows nothing about, and to make matters worse, they kidnap the millionaire’s wife, convinced that her “husband” will pay any ransom.
