Description

The performance “Karlsson’s New Year Adventures” is based on the final part of Astrid Lindgren’s beloved trilogy about Karlsson-on-the-Roof and his best friend, Little Brother. This is a completely different story in which Miss Bock finds her true love, friends catch the burglars, and Karlsson receives the greatest reward of all. The characters are in for joyful adventures, and in the end they once again realize how precious and wonderful friendship truly is.

Tbilisi State Russian Drama Theater named after A. Griboyedov - the first professional theater group in the Caucasus, the oldest Russian theater in the post-Soviet space. The theater was founded in Tbilisi on September 20, 1845 by the Governor of the Caucasus, Count M. At the request of Vorontsov. Many prominent people started their careers from the Griboyedov Theater. Since 1999, the theater has been directed by Avtandil Varsimashvili, laureate of the State Prize of Georgia. In 2013, the Griboedov Theater received the Theater Star Award in the nomination Best Russian Theater Abroad.
