The “A Room and a Half” Museum presents: “Democracy!” — the world premiere of an online performance based on a play by Joseph Brodsky

During his lifetime, Joseph Brodsky wrote three plays, only two of which were published. One of them, Marble, was staged by the A Room and a Half Museum on January 28, 2025, the poet’s memorial day. The online performance was watched simultaneously by more than 5,000 viewers.

The premiere of Democracy! will take place exactly one year later, on January 28, 2026, and will also be presented in the format of an online broadcast.
