A guest performance by the Ushangi Chkheidze Zestafoni Professional State Drama Theatre in Tbilisi at the Akaki Khorava Actor’s House.
The performance takes the audience on a journey through the history of Zestafoni and Imereti, bringing to life the story of an extraordinary woman — in an era where personal destiny intertwines with the history of a nation. The production features musical compositions by Ludwig van Beethoven, the Ishkhneli Sisters, and Georgian folk music, adding a distinctive emotional depth to the narrative. It is a historical journey enriched with lesser-known details, offering a renewed reflection on memory and identity.
A co-production with the Zinaida Kverenchkhelidze Dmanisi Professional State Drama Theatre.
The project is supported financially by the Ministry of Culture, the Zestafoni Municipality City Hall, and the Zestafoni Municipal Council.
