STOP THE BLEED Training in Batumi
Why it matters:
Severe bleeding can occur suddenly — after an accident, a cut, a fall, or a violent incident. Blood loss is one of the leading causes of death in trauma cases. According to the University of Manchester, more than half of such deaths can be prevented if someone nearby knows how to provide first aid before emergency services arrive.
You will learn to:
Act safely in high-stress situations
Recognize life-threatening bleeding
Stop bleeding using direct pressure
Perform deep wound packing
Apply pressure bandages in different ways
Use various types of tourniquets
Training format:

The port city and Black Sea resort of Batumi is the capital of the Georgian Republic of Adjara. The Batumi Boulevard runs along the seafront, a park, and a beach. The 130-meter-high Alphabet Tower, featuring inscriptions in the Georgian script, houses an observation deck with stunning sea views. In the Old Town, you can see many reconstructed 19th-century buildings. In the northern part of Batumi lies the botanical garden, home to plants from around the world.
