This Thursday, our space will host an interactive lecture-discussion where we’ll explore the concepts of major art styles and movements and how they influence our lives.
We are all children, and to some extent prisoners, of our era, family, and social circle. The environment that raised us always gives us something unique and valuable, but if we rely solely on its tools, our resources are quite limited. Many problems can only be solved if we view them through the lens of entirely different imagery.
The great styles of art offer us the opportunity to transcend the limitations of our era and social surroundings. The imagery of culture helps us see and feel more deeply – ourselves, our loved ones, and the world around us. Art makes everything we work on, or encounter by chance, more fascinating and profound. It enriches every other aspect of life and helps us improve our destiny in countless ways.
The lecture will be led by Margarita Solis – an art historian, theater scholar, lecturer, and author of the Telegram channel Rita del Arte.
