The anti-war open mic "Poems and Songs Louder Than Bombs" will take place this Friday, February 21.
We thought for a long time about whether we should hold an event on the eve of such a tragic date, but we realized how important it is for us to gather together, to be near each other, to support one another, and to remind ourselves: there are many of us, and we are not alone!
So:
Come listen to live music in our cozy, newly renovated space, performed by like-minded artists.
You can expect original anti-war material, cover versions of well-known songs, and moments of poetry. We will listen together to both familiar and lesser-known songs and poems.
Gathering at 19:30
Start at 20:00
Free entry. Audience donations for artists are welcome.
Participation is free. The bar administration supports artists with homemade infused drinks.
If you play musical instruments, sing, or write poetry and would like to participate in our peaceful event as an artist, leave a comment under this post, and @prokudingorskiy will contact you to clarify details.
Those who do not register in advance will be able to perform at the end of the evening—after the main lineup, in a live queue format.
You can also use the comments to find bandmates if you don’t want to perform alone.
Feel free to bring your own instruments, or you can use ours for free.
We provide:
The administration of One-Eyed Beagle Art Bar does not support performances of artists who endorsed the full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Please check your material in advance.
