Meet the Steve Sandberg Trio — our resident band for July!

Steve Sandberg is a three-time Emmy-nominated pianist and composer whose work blends jazz, classical, Afro-Caribbean, and Brazilian musical traditions. He served as the lead composer and music director for the popular children's TV series Dora the Explorer and Go, Diego, Go!, and has collaborated with legendary artists including Celia Cruz, Tito Puente, Rubén Blades, David Byrne, and Bebel Gilberto.

Joining him on stage is Greek bassist Vassilis Koutsonanos, a graduate of Kunstuniversität Graz, co-founder of the se4sons quartet, and participant in numerous international jazz projects.

The trio’s third member is New York drummer Quinton Kane, a graduate of Manhattan School of Music, who is widely regarded as one of the most promising young musicians on today’s jazz scene.

Together, these three artists will deliver virtuosic performances, free-flowing improvisation, and a rich musical journey across diverse styles and traditions.
