STAND-UP SHOW BY ISRAELI COMEDIANS — LEV GOLDORT & MAX SOTNIKOV

Lev Goldort and Max Sotnikov are residents of the stand-up collective Yalla.Balagan and hosts of the weekly podcast “What’s Up with the Jews?”. For the first time, they’re hitting the road on a European tour with comedy about immigration, cultural breakdowns, and surviving it all with humor. They emigrated before it was trendy.

Lev Goldort came to Israel from Moscow, originally from Akademgorodok, Novosibirsk. He doesn’t do much observational comedy — instead, he lives in the land of concepts. He’ll talk about waiting for the death of a dictator, why reality feels like a pine forest, and perform a (bad) punk rock song.

Max Sotnikov was born in Donetsk, found his place in Israel. He’ll share stories of growing up Jewish in Ukraine, moving countries, war, and life in Israel.
