“SRACH”
Screenlife verbatim comedy. Script reading.
“Srach” is the debut play by writer, screenwriter, and playwright Mikhail Sokolovsky, written in Berlin.
The story unfolds in the fictional country of Northern Tonga, somewhere in Central Europe. Yet this “shitshow” is rooted in very real, endless online discussions about the socio-political climate of recent years — discussions that have deeply affected our personal lives.
The main character is an activist and opposition figure. She communicates only with her gadget, which responds in the voices of her friends, family, haters, and news anchors.
