Practice English and play board games

Starting this Sunday we will play board games and speak English (as well as we can). If you are already confident you can still join us for the games!

It is a great and trusted method to learn and enjoy the process. We'll meet, chat and play while improving our speaking skills.

Your level of English won't hold you back: I will help you with forming sentences and sharing your thoughts if you need any assistance.

Our first game will be Go.

Go is one of the oldest strategic games, it was invented in ancient China. The rules are quite simple: acquire as much territory as you can with black or white stones. However the amount of opportunities and variations on the board can easily compete with chess.

That is why we have decided to start with Go. Because not only do we wish to have fun but also to improve our brains!

This is a new format so the entrance is per donation. Put the amount you want in the hat.
