On October 31, Academy will host a concert by Oscar-nominated American post-rock band Son Lux.
Son Lux challenge conventional ideas of how music is created, building their sound on a molecular level and shaping a musical language rooted in curiosity and the balance of opposites. Over the past two decades, the band has released numerous records characterized by emotional intimacy and meticulously crafted electronic structures, while performing at leading concert venues and festivals around the world.
The group composed the soundtrack for A24’s Everything Everywhere All at Once, which won the Academy Award for Best Picture. For this work, the band received two Academy Award nominations and earned a BAFTA Awardsnomination. They also created music for Marvel Studios’s Thunderbolts* and the upcoming film Your Mother Your Mother Your Mother (2026).
Please note: once you leave the event venue, re-entry will not be allowed.
