The story takes place in 1930s Chicago. Two talented musicians suddenly find themselves unemployed and, while searching for work, accidentally witness a murder.
In order to save their lives, they are forced to disguise themselves as women and join an all-female orchestra. This marks the beginning of their romantic and comedic adventures, which, of course, lead to a happy ending.
This is a musical comedy — a vibrant cocktail of jazz, choreography, and light-hearted humor.
Batumi Ilia Chavchavadze State Drama Theatre opened in 1952 and is the oldest dramatic theatre in Ajara, based in the centre of Batumi.
