On June 30 at 7:30 PM, you are invited to the Small Hall of the Rustaveli National Theatre for the solo concert of the Folklore Center Choir.
Although the choir was founded just two years ago, it has already established itself as one of Georgia's promising folk ensembles.
The Folklore Center Choir brings together young performers and experienced singers to revive rare and forgotten archival recordings, performing traditional songs and circle dances from various regions of Georgia.
One of the choir's unique features is that it is led by five lotbaris (traditional Georgian choir masters), allowing each region's musical heritage to be performed with exceptional authenticity.
Choir Masters:
• Giorgi Donadze
• Lika Liparteliani
• Tornike Skhiereli
• Giorgi Khunashvili
• Sergo Urushadze — a descendant of a renowned Gurian family of traditional folk singers.
The project is supported by the Ministry of Culture of Georgia.
🎟 Tickets go on sale starting June 23.
