"The Dog" – this is the name of the story that tells about the period of war and its crimes. In the play, we encounter the healthy and warm relationship between a grandfather and his granddaughter. The girl brings a street dog into the house. The situation becomes complicated when a rabid dog appears in the village. The villagers make a cruel decision. The grandfather and granddaughter try to protect their friend, but they don’t want to go against the village. Their attitude towards the environment is an example of how spiritual wealth can save a person. When faced with a choice, the girl and grandfather release the dog, they do not kill it. The loyal friend, however, returns for the grandfather's burial and will not leave the girl alone. The play makes us reflect on important issues such as: attitude towards animals, loyalty, care, friendship, and love. Recommended age: 10+
