A biting dystopia from the director of the Oscar-winning "Parasite."
The near future. Seventeen years ago, a technological disaster occurred on the planet. Where forests once grew and gardens bloomed, now there is only snow and ice, and life has survived only in a giant train that speeds endlessly along the trans-Eurasian highway. In the front cars of the train lives the ruling elite, while in the back are ordinary people. Life at the tail of the train resembles a concentration camp—disease, poverty, and the tyranny of overseers. It is here, among the humiliated and insulted, that a man rises, yearning to restore justice.
