Sinners

1932. After many years away, twin brothers Smoke and Stack return to their hometown in the Mississippi Delta. They survived the trenches of World War I and later became gangsters in Chicago. The brothers buy land with farm buildings from a white racist to open a music bar for plantation workers. The highlight of the grand opening is a pastor’s son — once gifted a guitar by the twins — who plays the blues so powerfully that he attracts the attention of an Irish vampire lurking nearby.
