Description

1890s. Young Ifraim Winslow arrives on a remote island to work as the new assistant lighthouse keeper. His boss is the lame and bearded Thomas Wake. He treats the assistant as a personal slave and forbids him to go up to the lighthouse itself and control the light. Ifraim will have to spend four difficult weeks in Wake’s company, during which the calm guy will change forever.
