Shumi Sound Lab at Auditoria — Explore, Listen, Invent
Following the success of our recent sound walk with Tora Soboleva , we’re continuing our exploration of sound — this time in a new format.
Shumi Lab is a series of gatherings where sound is not only seen as music, but as a form of thinking, interaction, and gesture.
It doesn’t matter if you play instruments, work with sound, or simply know how to listen carefully — what matters here is attention, play, and curiosity about the elusive.
“Bricolage”
What does a fork, a pipe, or an old toy sound like?
In the context of DIY instruments, especially in art and sound, bricolage becomes a powerful act — aesthetic, political, and poetic at once.
We will build handmade instruments from found objects — an act of autonomy, freedom, and attention to “low” sound.
Bricolage as a strategy, a philosophy, and a form of resistance.
