Short Film Screening

On September 27 at 20:00, Mziuri’s screen will host a showcase of works by director Mevlud Sabashvili. Two short films will be presented:

• “The Last Day of Payment” — a film about financial responsibility, where the protagonist makes poor financial decisions to fulfill his desires, and his situation becomes increasingly difficult.

• “A Step Forward” — a film about Batumi’s inclusive theatre troupe, where people with disabilities actively participate.

Project goals:

• to discuss current issues through cinema with audiences of different generations

• to engage young Georgian directors and encourage direct dialogue with viewers

• to promote contemporary Georgian auteur cinema and showcase important films of recent years
