Samegrelo Take and Hike

Samegrelo Trip

Departure from Batumi at 08:00–09:00. The road takes about 2.5 hours. On the way, we will stop at Nokalakevi Fortress.

We will take a guided overview tour inside the fortress and then continue a short drive to the hiking starting point. Upon arrival, we’ll have tea and a light snack.

Hiking
We set off on an easy hike with panoramic views of the Meskheti Ridge.
Total distance — about 3 km, elevation gain — 100 m. Suitable for any fitness level.
The route passes ancient fortress ruins and a beautiful old garden with moss-covered trees. We’ll also look for early spring flowers.

Herons & Birdwatching
Guide Alina will share stories about these beautiful birds, their nesting habits, and lifestyle.
We’ll use binoculars, listen to their calls, and feel like real birdwatchers.

Nokalakevi Hot Springs
Back at the car, we’ll enjoy herbal tea with pie, then head to the hot springs. You can relax in small natural baths formed among the pebbles.
This season is especially pleasant — fewer people and a calm atmosphere. The mineral water temperature ranges from 60 to 80°C.

Return to Batumi around 20:00–21:00.
