Christmas tour to Svaneti for 4 days with Svan

From January 5 to 8, a 4-day tour to Svaneti to celebrate Christmas! Joining us is a native Svan and experienced guide, Tomaz! 

Our journey is versatile and perfect for both ski enthusiasts (with great snow and slopes) and lovers of excursions and travel adventures.
• For skiers: You can enjoy a fantastic ski resort for 2 days (bring your gear or rent it there).
• For explorers: We’ve prepared a program full of unique landmarks and locations.

It will be interesting for everyone! 

Day 1
It’s a long drive – 500 km (~9 hours). Along the way, we’ll visit the Enguri Hydropower Plant, one of the most powerful and grand in Europe (with a guided tour). In the evening, we’ll settle into our hotel. You can optionally visit a café with traditional folk music.

Day 2 & 3 (Christmas)
• For skiers – Enjoy the ski resort to its fullest! We’ll help with equipment rentals and ski passes.
• For travelers

• Visit the museum of world-famous alpinist M. Khergiani (climb a Svan tower to the top).
• Explore an old traditional Svan house.
• National Museum: Discover treasures you won’t find anywhere else in Georgia and learn why the Svans protect them so fiercely.
• Breathtaking views.
  If the weather allows, we can hike to the iconic swings overlooking the Svaneti Range. We’ll also take a cable car ride to admire Mount Ushba.
  • On the night of January 6–7, you can attend a church service and then enjoy a festive dinner.

Day 4
We’ll head back at a relaxed pace, stopping for lunch in the Samegrelo region at one of the best Megrelian cuisine restaurants. By evening, we’ll return to Tbilisi.

Price: 360₾ (transfer, guide services, guide’s accommodation, and meals).

• Accommodation: 60-80₾ per night (with breakfast, double rooms).
• Museum tickets: National Museum (15₾), M. Khergiani Museum (15₾).
