"Requiem for a Dream" in ArtCinema

Each of the main characters of the film strives for their cherished dream. Sarah Goldfarb dreamed of starring in a famous TV show, her son Harold and his friend Tyrone dreamed of becoming fabulously rich, and Harold's girlfriend Marion dreamed of owning her fashion store. Still, there were many obstacles in their way. The film's events unfold rapidly, and the characters are mired in drugs. Dreams still remain unattainable, and the lives of the heroes are destroyed irrevocably.
