Racha — Imereti Adventure

Day 1
Mt. Khvamli – Departure from Batumi around 7–8 AM. Scenic stops en route for photos/stretching. Hike to the panoramic summit of Khvamli, offering sweeping views of Racha, Imereti, and Samegrelo.

Rachkha Waterfall – A beautiful waterfall with an ancient tree growing in the middle of the river. A picnic by the mountain stream then onward.

Sairme Columns – A short hike to the wonder of natural limestone pillars (Sairme columns). The 7 km trek of the day includes 400 m elevation gain.

Lake Shaori – Evening camp at Lake Shaori: dinner by the fire, marshmallows, toasting cheese, hot tea, cocoa, and stargazing.

Day 2
Nikorc’minma Cathedral – After breakfast and a morning stretch, we visit this 11th-century church (1010–1014 AD) with rich stone carvings and interior murals from the 16th–17th centuries.

Mount Ts’khrajvari (Nine Crosses) – Hike to the summit of a former seabed plateau with a small chapel and 360° vistas of Imereti, forests, rocks, and Lake Tkibuli.

TsuChkvari Cave – Explore a tall, multi-entrance cave with 13 levels—ancient human and cave-bear habitat. Walk through chambers, see minerals, formations, and possibly bats. Guided tour included.

Return to Batumi, arriving around 9 PM.
