Tahir Nuriev is a performance poet from Kazan. He began his career as an organizer and participant in poetry slams, and he was a finalist in the All-Russian Poetry Slam in 2019.
This is his first major solo performance since the start of the war. It includes a cycle of poems from Dahab (Egypt), Bali, and Tbilisi. Poems on antidepressants and without. Poems about love and divorce. Poems about the death of cats. Poems about war and refugees. No hope, no open endings, just pure, endless darkness.
