On April 16 at 15:00, as part of Mother Language Day, a public lecture will be held at the Writers’ House titled
“History and Modern Development of the Georgian Language.”
The lecture will be delivered by Nino Jalagonia, a laureate of the National Teacher Award and a philologist.
As part of the educational project, an exhibition of students’ thematic works will also be presented.
The aim of the project is to raise awareness among the younger generation about the importance of the native language, strengthen national identity, and highlight the necessity of preserving and developing the Georgian language.
