Aleksei Trantsev and Aleksei Mutin lost their hands due to an electric injury. Years later, they have mastered bionic prostheses with remarkable skill and live like ordinary people. However, they deeply miss the ability to feel with their hands—to sense warmth, cold, water, or touch their loved ones. Meanwhile, scientists are developing a system to bring sensation to prosthetic hands. Will they be able to create artificial sensations, and what lies behind these scientific discoveries?

Sechenov Institute of Evolutionary Physiology and Biochemistry of the Russian Academy of Sciences. Mikhail will talk about his work, what was left behind the scenes of the film, and answer questions.
