Trial Session in the Theatre Laboratory "Shall We Take a Swing?" with Svetlana Ivanova-Sergeeva

We invite everyone to embark on an exciting journey into the world of classical drama with professional actress, director, and theatre educator, Svetlana Ivanova-Sergeeva! During the theatrical laboratory, we will:

• Explore the characters of the play and their relationships
• Get acquainted with acting techniques to understand how scenes are performed in professional theatre and cinema
• Create stage characters
• Perform scenes from various plays
• Expand our cultural horizons by diving into the world of great dramaturgy

At our first trial meeting, we will work on the play "The Seagull" by A.P. Chekhov.

Starting from February, a full four-session theatre laboratory will take place on Sundays, concluding with a public reading of the play!

Svetlana Ivanova-Sergeeva is an actress and director who worked at the Moscow Art Theatre until 2022 and taught acting and stage speech at the Moscow Art Theatre School-Studio.
