Presentation of the children's book “A Trip to the Mandrakes, or The Story of a Lion, an Elephant, a Giraffe, and a Hedgehog Who Wanted to Become an Owl” by Anna Krasilshchik
This Saturday, we invite children and adults to the presentation of a witty and cheerful play featuring vivid characters, created by Anna Krasilshchik — author of the bestseller “Let’s Go to Unalaska” — together with Yury Saprykin Jr., founder of Suffering Middle Ages, and decorated with bright, stylish illustrations by Timofey Yarzhombek.
Once, Owlehog, Lion, Giraffe, and Elephant decided to go to the city to relax and drink some coffee. They also planned to visit a museum with a hall entirely dedicated to ancient mandrakes. No sooner said than done — just a couple of days on the road. But trouble awaited them: the museum was closed for reconstruction, and the mandrakes were in danger! So instead of a cultural day off, the friends must save the works of art…
