Presentation of Mikhail Sukhotin's Poetry Collection Homes

What remains of a place when the place itself no longer exists? Fragments, ruins, memories, and words that continue to preserve its presence.

On September 9, Auditoria will host the presentation of Mikhail Sukhotin's poetry collection Homes, published in Tbilisi by Niavi.

The book is a collaborative project between the poet and artist-publisher Maria Ovchinnikova.

The poems written over the past few years are assembled like ruins: many are composed of textual fragments that preserve the memory of the places and creative spaces where they were first created.

Rather than being simply a book about a home, Homes is a reflection on the memory of place and on what happens to words when the place they belonged to disappears.
