Maria Danilova is a writer, journalist, and “Author of the Year” according to Podpisnye Izdaniya. She lives in Washington, D.C.
Her debut book, Anya Here and There, a story of emigration seen through the eyes of a child, was a finalist for the Krapivin Literary Award and longlisted for the Marshak Prize.
Her new novel, this time aimed at adult readers, explores coming of age during a time of change — in the era of perestroika and the early 1990s.
