On May 31, the city of Poti will host its second half-marathon. Participants will have the opportunity to choose from three different distances based on their preference and ability:
• 5 km
• 10 km
• Half Marathon (21.097 km)
The event aims to promote a healthy lifestyle, increase sports engagement, and support tourism development.
Bib number distribution and bag drop-off points will be open from 07:30 to 08:30.
Please note that this is a charitable event. If the PotiMarathon is canceled due to circumstances beyond the organizers’ control, the registration fee will not be refunded; instead, all collected funds will be fully allocated to the selected beneficiary. Additionally, once registered, cancellations due to personal reasons are non-refundable.
Poti is a city in western Georgia, located in the Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti region. It sits at the mouth of the Rioni River, on the coast of the Black Sea. Poti is home to the largest port on the eastern coast of the Black Sea. The city of Poti was founded on the site of the ancient Greek city of Phasis, a colony of Miletus.
