Postmodernism: Art as an Intellectual Game

This Sunday, we’ll talk about the last major movement of the modern era in contemporary art — Postmodernism, and try to understand what it really is.

We’ll explore:

• What makes minimalist works beautiful?

• How late 20th-century art abandoned grand narratives and chose irony and skepticism instead

• Why postmodernism gave up on ordering the world — and turned into an intellectual game filled with references to the past
