Piano Concert “Stravinsky. The Rite of Spring”

Igor Stravinsky’s ballet «The Rite of Spring» was an aesthetic scandal. In early 20th-century Paris, audiences expected ballerinas dancing on pointe, but instead witnessed a staged “pagan ritual.” The work is rarely performed due to the complexity of its music, choreography, and scenography.

Pianist Tatiana Filina will introduce audiences to this remarkable musical world.
