Piano Concert “De Kadansi”

Misfortune often awakens happiness. Serenity never leads us to the peaks of adventure — only our inner fractures push us toward the places we fear.

That is how Tatiana Filina’s idea for this concert was born.

The same path was taken by the composers whose classical masterpieces will be performed: Chopin’s personal emotions gave birth to Ballade No. 1, Scriabin, after injuring his right hand, composed only for the left, and Rachmaninoff’s depression inspired his Piano Concerto No. 2.

Rachmaninoff’s concerto, originally written for piano and orchestra, will be performed in a unique solo version combining both piano and orchestral parts (Part I).

The masterpieces of music will resonate within a masterpiece of architecture — the Palace of Ceremonies (“Arcadia”), where stained glass, murals, and soaring arches create a special atmosphere.

It is a rare opportunity to visit a palace that is usually closed to the public.
