Photo exhibition in memory Misha Alperin

This event has a backstory:

In the fall of 2017, the famous Norwegian pianist and composer Misha Alperin (1956-1961) sent his friends a home video of his new piano composition, called "Tiflis". One of the recipients was the director and founder of the international arts festival Noumen ART, George Davitashvili.

After listening to the composition, George expressed admiration for its beauty and promised to make a feature film about Tbilisi with the composition "Tiflis" as a leitmotif. Suddenly, an idea arose to hold an evening in memory of Misha Alperin, where the composition “Tiflis” would be in tune with the entire photo universe of Dmitry Zverev called Tbilisi.

Recently, George was amazed by the photographs of Dmitry Zverev, who has been creating a photo chronicle of modern Tbilisi for two years - there are more than one and a half thousand of them. Suddenly, an idea arose to hold an evening in memory of Misha Alperin, where the composition "Tiflis" will be in tune with the entire photo universe of Dmitry Zverev called Tbilisi.

This unique fusion of music and art of photography will take place in the famous IArt Gallery in Tbilisi. The program includes an acoustic concert by contemporary pianist and composer Ksenia Marokkanskaya and professor of the Tbilisi State Conservatory Reso Kiknadze, a long-time friend of Misha Alperin.

As per tradition, guests of the IArt Gallery will be treated to a friendly reception, during which owners of Dmitry Zverev's photo posters will be able to get the author's autograph.
