Meet the Peter Madsen Quartet — Tatuza’s March Resident Band!
Peter Madsen is an American pianist, composer and educator. He lived in New York for many years and collaborated with jazz legends including Stan Getz, Kenny Garrett, Joe Lovano and others. He has performed thousands of concerts worldwide, composed more than 600 works, and participated in over 160 recordings.
Jeremy Sandfelder is a Canadian/French/American saxophonist and clarinetist. His music draws on the traditions of swing, bebop and cool jazz. In 2024, he graduated from McGill University and has collaborated with leading Canadian jazz musicians.
Sean Burke is a bassist and composer from Montreal. Over the past decade, he has actively worked with renowned artists across Canada and the United States. In 2019, he earned his Master’s degree from the Manhattan School of Music, where he studied with jazz legends.
Alex Johnson is a Montreal-based drummer who has collaborated with local and international jazz artists for the past eight years and performs actively in various projects.
