"Persepolis" in Fomo.Cinema

Tehran, 1978. Eight-year-old Marjane dreams of becoming a prophet and saving humanity. She enthusiastically follows the events that soon lead to revolution and the fall of the Shah's regime. With the establishment of the Islamic Republic comes the time of “revolutionary commissars.” Marjane is now forced to wear a veil, but in her dreams she sees herself as a revolutionary.
