"Perfect Blue" is a stunning psychological anime-thriller about a former pop singer who transitions into acting and finds herself at the center of bloody events.

The scene with the girl screaming in the bathtub underwater was copied in detail in the film "Requiem for a Dream." You won't believe it, Darren Aronofsky even bought the rights to the entire anime just to fully recreate this scene in his own film.
