On April 14 (Sunday), at 20:00, the Terminal will host a lecture by pediatrician Sergei Butria “Domestic injuries in children.”
Modern life, on the one hand, has made the value of a child's life and well-being very high, and on the other hand, has provided a huge number of opportunities for injury. Young children can find many ways to harm themselves in or around the home. Toddlers and teenagers are in no way inferior to them in this.
When a child has an accident, the parents are the first to be blamed. But even if we imagine that parents have only one child and 100% of the time they follow him and watch without taking their eyes off, even then it will be impossible to prevent all injuries.
It is much more effective, fairer and psychologically healthier to discuss the main dangers with the family in advance and follow simple safety checklists adapted for each stage of the child’s development.
