Parasite

This is a social comedy with an incredibly surreal plot that is surprisingly realistic. The story revolves around a family with bleak prospects: all four members are unemployed. The situation changes when a friend of the eldest son offers him a high-paying part-time job as a tutor. Gradually, the entire family finds employment working for wealthy individuals. In the end, it becomes unclear who is parasitizing whom.

The style of the Korean director is unlike anything else, and his daring combinations of incompatible genres—in this case, family drama, social satire, and a bloody thriller—are truly unique.
